How does CraneMe work?

Philanthropists (individual donors) donate funds to aspiring entrepreneurs in developing countries listed on CraneMe.

CraneMe business program

Funded aspiring entrepreneurs enter the CraneMe business program to learn the necessary skills to maintain a business.

Business formation

After graduating from the CraneMe business program, the donated funds are provided to the entrepreneurs as interest-free loans to create businesses.

The entrepreneurs repay the interest-free loans to the CraneMe Community Center in order to fund future aspiring entrepreneurs.

Where is CraneMe now?

Beginning in January 2016, CraneMe will select aspiring entrepreneurs residing in Dakar, Senegal (West Africa) to participate in the inaugural CraneMe business program.
